Today marks 7 years of me being the founder of the Mississippi Center for Reentry.
That’s 7 years of:
Trial and error;
Health attacks;
Advocating for policy change;
Connecting with other reentry professionals; and
Unlocking second chances
Through it all I remained resilient because how can I teach others to be resilient if I don’t practice being resilient myself. It’s been a hard fight these last 7 years, but I wouldn’t trade my experiences and life lessons learned for nothing in the world.
Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy anniversary. I greatly appreciate each and every one of you. Take a moment to reflect with me on some of my most powerful moments over the last 7 years.
I’m preparing the Mississippi Center for Reentry to continue to be a force to be reckoned with for the next 7 years and beyond.
If you find it in your heart to support Mississippi Center for Reentry’s 7-year anniversary campaign, please do so by purchasing one of our “Everyone Deserves a Second Chance” t-shirts from our online store: www.msreentry.store.Together we can continue to change the narrative in Mississippi. Happy 7 years to us!
In Reentry Solidarity,
Cynetra
